"Cider Apples"

"A Painting A Day"
to Benefit The Lake County Haven

5" x 7" Watercolor on Paper

Autumn weather ushers in the harvest season. September is a big month for apples in Illinois. Cooler nights bring sweet, colorful apples in so many varieties, freshly picked from a recent orchard outing.

Back to a my more traditional painting style for this piece and a fun bird's-eye view for the composition.

A perfect little piece to help me celebrate my favorite time of year!

This painting is offered for sale on ebay. Custom matting and framing is included when the bid meets the amount required in the description.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Lake County Haven to help it fulfill its mission to empower homeless women and their children to achieve permanent, independent living. Founded in 1992, the Haven fulfills its mission by providing shelter, housing, and professional services in support of its residents and graduates.

Custom Mat and Frame are included
when bid meets or exceeds "But It Now" price.
9" x 11" Rustic Black Frame with
8 ply white mats.

"Why do we need so many kinds of apples?
Because there are so many folks.
...It provides more contact with life,
and leads away from
"uniformity and monotony."
